God’s faith is in you

“But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”” Galatians 3:11

A Christ believer lives and walks by faith. You cannot live the Christ life without faith. Jesus lived by faith. How can you live His life – the ‘In Christ life’ without faith?

You live the Christ life with the faith of Christ.

The Lord has given you His faith in order for you to live and walk by faith. You cannot live the way Jesus lived by your own natural human faith. It takes the supernatural faith of God in a believer to live the faith life as required by the Lord.

From New Birth, the faith of God is deposited in your spirit.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 KJV

According to the above verse, God has given to every man the measure of faith. In simple words, God has given to every believer the measure of His faith – the supernatural faith of God – the moment they were born again. You and I have received the faith of God the moment we received Jesus as our Lord. Ignorance of this reality has caused believers to fast, pray and beg God to give them faith. Why would anyone ask for something they already have? It is because of ignorance.

The seed of God has given you the faith of God.

“having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,” I Peter 1:23

New birth happens when a person receives the incorruptible seed of God – the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Birth cannot happen without a seed. The word of God – the incorruptible seed of God has given you birth. You are born of God and you have His life and His nature in you.

The faith of God is IN the seed of God. Since you are born of the seed of God, you already have the supernatural faith of God in your spirit. From new birth, the Father God has given you the ability to live and walk by faith exactly like Jesus.

Can you see this? Walking by faith is not tough for you. Don’t say, it is so difficult to live by faith. It is difficult for those who don’t have the faith of God. But child of God, you have God’s faith in you. The Father doesn’t just command us to live by faith but He also provides us with His supernatural faith to do what He has commanded us. You must acknowledge what the Father has given you and give Him thanks.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 KJV

The Apostle Paul said I live by the faith of the Son of God. Not only do we have faith in Him but we live by His faith. He has made it available to every believer. Don’t live by your natural human faith rather make a quality decision to live by the supernatural faith of God. The Father gave it to you so you will live by it and enjoy the triumphant life made available in Christ.

Every believer starts with the same measure of faith.

“Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:” II Peter 1:1

Notice those words – like precious faith. Because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, every believer has obtained like precious faith. All of us including Peter and Paul, started their new birth journey with same measure, the same proportion and the same kind of God’s faith. No believer has more than the other and no believer has less than the other. Graces are different and in different proportions to each believer but as far as faith is concerned all of us start at the same level with the same measure of God’s supernatural faith.

Use what you have.

“And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” Luke 17:5-6

Instead of asking God for more faith, we must acknowledge what we have been given and begin to use it. When the disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith, Jesus didn’t given them an additional dose of faith. He showed them in order to increase their faith they must use it. As they use the faith, it will increase and grow.

The workings, manifestations and exploits of one person’s faith will be different from another person’s faith. This doesn’t mean God has given them different measures of faith. It is a matter of development on the part of the recipients. Some work hard on their God given faith while many others don’t and therefore the results of faith are varying. Work on the measure of faith that God has given you and develop it. According to Jesus, you don’t need more faith. You already have what you need. You just have to develop it by feeding it and using it. You feed your faith by meditating on God’s word and you use it by speaking the word of God.

Because you have God’s faith in you,

1. You can believe whatever God says to you irrespective of the circumstances around you.

2. You can please God all the days of your life and have an intimate access to Him.

3. You can do whatever God tells you.

4. You can allow God to turn your life around

5. You can increase God’s work in your life, through your life and for your life.

6. You can live a higher quality of life.

7. You can have a good report.

8. You can live the Christ life with ease.

9. You can walk the Christ walk triumphantly

10. You can stand in Christ and for Christ against all odds.

11. You can speak and declare God’s word in the face of all contradictions.

You can because you have God’s faith in you. Be willing to do it! I will work on my faith and live the life Jesus has for me.

You are victorious in Christ.
