The grace of Jesus be with you.
The love of God be with you.
The communion of the Holy Spirit be with you. The Greek word for communion is koinonia. The koinonia of the Holy Spirit be with you. The word koinonia is a rich word and primarily it means partnership.
1. The partnership of the Holy Spirit.
‘A partnership is an arrangement between two or more people to oversee business operations and share its profits and liabilities.’
According to Ephesians 1.13, the moment you received Jesus as your Lord, you were sealed and stamped with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit wants to partner with you in every area of your life. You are not seeking His partnership. He is seeking your partnership. He doesn’t seek your partnership for His benefit, He seeks it for your benefit.
The Holy Spirit is the omniscient, the omnipotent and the omnipresent Spirit of the living God. How beautiful and glorious would our lives be if we walk in the partnership of the Holy Spirit! Having the Holy Spirit as your partner guarantees you success in every area of your life.
Examples of Partnership with the Holy Spirit :
1. The Partnership of Adam and God
“Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:19-20 NKJV
2. The Partnership of Jesus and the Father
“Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” John 5:19-20 NKJV
“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”” John 12:49-50 NKJV
“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.” John 14:10-11 NKJV
3. The Partnership of Paul and the Holy Spirit
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” I Corinthians 2:12-13 NKJV
“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” I Corinthians 2:4-5 NKJV
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”
Romans 8:14 NKJV
As a human needs oxygen, a believer needs the partnership of the Holy Spirit. Without the partnership of the Holy Spirit, you won’t be able to successfully navigate through life. Shake the hand of partnership with the Holy Spirit and receive His partnership today. Without His guidance, you will land in the wrong destination. Without His leadership, you will be confused in life. Without His teaching, you will never be able to understand the written Word of God. The Holy Spirit makes the grace of Jesus and the love of the Father real to us. Without the Holy Spirit, you will never be able to discover and fulfil God’s specific plan for your life. The Holy Spirit makes your prayer life alive and fills your faith walk with unspeakable joy.
Be conscious of His presence in you. Be aware that He resides in you. He is your Senior Partner. Acknowledge with gratitude His immense power. Let Him know how much you need His partnership. Submit to Him. Be sensitive to Him. Follow Him courageously. You will see the tangible results of His partnership!
2. The deep intimacy of the Holy Spirit be with you.
My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. Song of Solomon 2:10 KJV
The word koinonia refers to deep intimacy – intimacy at its highest level. Just as King Solomon invites the Shulamite to come away with him, the Holy Spirit invites you to a deep intimacy with Him. The Holy Spirit desires to have an intimate relationship with you – where He becomes one with you. Jesus spoke about it in the following verses.
