This verse is in the past tense. Christ is not going to redeem you, He has redeemed you. That means it’s not a promise, it’s reality. Can you say this with me, ‘ɪ ᴀᴍ ʀᴇᴅᴇᴇᴍᴇᴅ.’

You have redemption. Thank you Lord! The word ‘redeemed’ is a very interesting word. 𝑰𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆. 𝑰𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒚 𝒖𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒏𝒆’𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒏𝒆’𝒔 𝒖𝒔𝒆.
The price, the ransom paid for your redemption is the blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 9:12
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
Because of Adam’s disobedience, we became slaves to sin and therefore we were under God’s wrath and subject to Satan, sickness, poverty, curse and spiritual death. But Jesus Christ shed His blood for us and through His blood He obtained eternal redemption for us.
Colossians 1:13 – He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
Revelation 5:9
And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
Now, you are of God. You are no more of the devil. You are of Jesus, you belong to Him. You are redeemed, eternally redeemed. You are free – free from sin, satan, curse, sickness, poverty and spiritual death. These forces have no more control, influence or power over you. When these forces comes against you, remember you are redeemed. Speak out and let these forces know that you are redeemed and that they have no legal right over you.
