1 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓 5:8‭-‬9’𝑩𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅. 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓. 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒎…’

Your enemy, the devil tries hard and continuously – (walking around like a roaring lion) – seeking whom he may devour. That’s why this verse says, be on your guard, be alert and sober so that we don’t give any place – not even a foothold to our enemy.

Satan is called a lion not because of his strength but because of His roar. ᴀʟᴡᴀʏs ʀᴇᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀ, sᴀᴛᴀɴ ʜᴀs ᴢᴇʀᴏ ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴢᴇʀᴏ ᴀᴜᴛʜᴏʀɪᴛʏ ᴏᴠᴇʀ ᴀ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇʀ. It’s because Jesus has paralyzed the devil – made him a total zero and defeated him – when He rose again from the dead. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒐 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 – 𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒔. His target is your mind and His biggest weapon is fear. Everything he says is designed to make you afraid. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒐𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆. This verse doesn’t say, Satan just comes and destroys every believer. No! He can’t. Satan is looking for someone who will listen to his lying and deceiving talks, agree with it and believe it. Such a believer will become a nice meal for the devil because he has opened the door to him.

Well, resist the devil and do not accept his lies and his deception. ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪs ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴀʀʏ ᴛᴏ ɢᴏᴅ’s ᴡᴏʀᴅ ɪs ʜɪs ʟɪᴇ, ɪᴛ’s ʜɪs ᴅᴇᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴏɴ. It doesn’t matter who says it or how many people say it. ᴡʜᴀᴛᴇᴠᴇʀ ʏᴏᴜ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴄᴏᴍᴇs ᴀ ʀᴇᴀʟɪᴛʏ ɪɴ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʟɪғᴇ. Don’t believe his lies, believe the Word. 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔.

𝓑𝓮𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓭, 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓪 𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓕𝓪𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻’𝓼 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮, 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓷𝓸 𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓻. 𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓷𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓻. 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓕𝓪𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓼𝓸 𝓶𝓾𝓬𝓱 – 𝓗𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾, 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓲𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾. 𝓑𝓮 𝓻𝓸𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓭, 𝓰𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓭 𝓲𝓷 𝓗𝓲𝓼 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 & 𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓼𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓵!
