𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌 4:37

When I read these verses, I think about the storms in God’s will. Jesus and His disciples were in the perfect will of the Father going towards Gadarenes, yet a fierce storm of hurricane proportions came against their God given assignment. ʟɪsᴛᴇɴ ᴀɴᴅ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀsᴛᴀɴᴅ, ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴡɪʟʟ ʙᴇ ᴄʜᴀʟʟᴇɴɢᴇs ɪɴ ɢᴏᴅ’s ᴡɪʟʟ. There will arise storms that will try to stop you from coming closer to God and from doing whatever God wants you to do.

𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 – 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝. What did Jesus do? You know, Jesus wasn’t surprised at the storms, in fact he was surprised at the behavior of the disciples. The disciples, when they saw the fierce winds, they let go of the words of Jesus. Just because you are facing a challenge doesn’t mean God is responsible for that storm, you need to hold on to God’s word to you, hold on to God’s love for you and take your authority in the name of Jesus and rebuke the winds and the waves. ‘Peace, be still.’ 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔!
