As a believer, it’s so important to see yourself the way God sees you. ɴᴏᴛ ᴀ ʜɪɢʜ ᴠɪᴇᴡ ᴏғ ʏᴏᴜʀsᴇʟғ ʙᴜᴛ ʜᴀᴠɪɴɢ ᴀ ɢᴏᴅ ᴠɪᴇᴡ ᴏғ ʏᴏᴜʀsᴇʟғ.
Israelites were God’s covenant people. Yet, many of their leaders didn’t see themselves as God saw them. Look at what they said when faced with a challenge, ‘we are like grasshoppers in their sight because we are like grasshoppers in our sight.’ How can a believer talk like that? There is a reason. However, in the next chapter, two leaders namely Joshua and Caleb spoke differently. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, ‘𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵.’ Wow, Glory to God.
Both Joshua and Caleb were full of the Word and that’s the reason they spoke differently. Only through the Word, you can know how God sees you. ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀᴅ, ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ ᴡʜᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀᴄᴛᴜᴀʟʟʏ ᴀʀᴇ ɪɴ ᴄʜʀɪsᴛ, ᴡʜᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ɪɴ ᴄʜʀɪsᴛ ᴀɴᴅ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ᴅᴏ ɪɴ ᴄʜʀɪsᴛ.
